It's been 3 week since i came here for my companies work or so do they think.. :P
Anyways i am bored and just thought of writing something after a long long time. I know i know loneliness can make you do stuff that you never imagined. :P
This is my first foreign trip and as most people will be i was very excited about it. I made all kinds of preparations for my trip and finally started on 31st March. It took around 15hrs - 3.5hrs(time diff) to reach here and there was nothing much exciting about the trip except the the fact that i might have eat chicken or beef(being a vegetarian) on the plane thinking it was some salad. But i don't wish to find out. Whats gone is gone. ehhh !!! who cares !! My first reaction on getting out on the Incheaon Airport was "Its damn fucking cold out here". The temperature was too low that day .. may be for my welcome.. ;)
Reached my hotel in about an hour, in india it would have taken atleast three if not more. The roads were big and deserted, may be because it was a saturday night and everyone was busy partying. My room was all ready for my arrival. The guest house's so called manager was an Indian guy from chennai "Suresh". He showed us our rooms and after half an hour we set off for dinner with him to the guest house restaurant. To my surprise the food was all indian and not at all bad, I can't use the word good though. Anyways i didn't expect much on that part. Next day was the first day in SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS office. A huge campus with all kinds of facilities which i never imagined samsung would provide looking at the condition of its subsidy SISO back in India. But it awed me. Great first impression i would say. ;) Then started the security policies of samsung as usual but it was taken care off as we were supposed to attend the 1 week long training starting at 8a.m. and it was already 8:05. ;) Some Mr. Park came to escort us and take us to the training room. Which was filled with my dear SISO mates. It was a long and boring session after session till it ended and we managed to get upstairs to our manager thinking that we would have to work for another 4-5 hours untill the day ends. But to our surprise there were yet a number of procedures to get us IP addresses and ports enabled which took about 2 days and we were spared from that till then and had to attend only 9 hrs of long and boring training. :)
The week went in the same fashion and we were supposed to return on saturday. But we were informed that 2 of us will have to stay for another 2 weeks till the project ends to support from korea. I was happy. 2 more weeks means i can roam around a bit and ofcourse more money. :D
That sunday we went to 63 building. As the name suggests its a building with 63 floors. There was a hell lot of stuff to visit in that building and we did the same. Wax museum, aquarium, Sky view of the city from the 60th floor. That took up almost all of our time and it was time to return. I would say korea is well connected with transport. You can catch a subway for almost anywhere from anywhere.
Now the next week again went out in office nothing much to tell about it. Go to office at 10 come back at 10. That was pretty much all about the week.
The next sunday we went to EVERLAND. One of the biggest amusement parks of ASIA(Am not sure if its the biggest :P). Anyways it was big enough. Although i specially wanted to visit that place because of the T EXPRESS. It is the biggest and highest roller coaster of ASIA. That am pretty sure about. All the other rides were no better than our own local Wonler la. I wouldn't be wrong if i say that those rides are better in wonder la. Anyways Everland was all worth it because of the T EXPRESS. Man that was scary. I was all cool till i went in that ride. That scared the shit out of me. At almost 4 points i was sure am gonna die. But the almightly has thought of a much worst way to kill me i guess. ;) The ride was over and i thanked god i was alive. I bought mementos for everyone from there. Though it was hell expensive. I forgot to mention just one thing about korea yet. Prople dont know what is veg here. They eat non veg and only non veg. So i had to survive on fries whenever i went out anywhere. :( So was the case with everland too. Only fries and cold drink. Anyways there are a lot of attractions in everland except the T Express. The rotating house was great then the bug house and a few more. We missed the safari due to time constrains and ofcourse our laziness. But its ok. On the whole it was a great day.
The week to follow went the same as the previous one with just one change. My stay was again extended by 2 weeks and all of my other teammates went back leaving me alone to get bored and write this blog to torture whoever reads this... :P
P.S. : The people here are very helpful and mind before asking help from someone. Coz he might not leave you untill he would have helped you. Although he will not understand your language and you wont understand his, not her(her wont help, her will run away.. :P)
And about the title: Yes the girls here like to flaunt their legs a lot and i being a true Indian don't mind staring. ;)
Thats all Folks !!!
